imageA proper website is far more valuable than a good looking one. By saying that we do not mean that we will not take care of the look and feel of your website. We want to point out that a valid encoding it is equally important to how your website looks.
It all binds together

For starters, let us mention that what you see on your screen, could not be the same to what we, or other people see on their computers. There are several Internet Explorers, like the one you are using now to read this page. Most probably, you are using a version o Microsoft Internet Explorer or a version of Mozzila Firefox. These 2 are the most common Internet Explorers with a coverage bind of around 90%. The rest of you could be using Opera, Safari, Lynx, Maxthon and several other Internet Explorers that exist. Now here is the challange.  Does your website show the same on all of these browsers, or does it break apart on some of them. Only one way to find out, and that is W3C.

W3C is the organization that is above all when it come to web standards. They set the rules, and we have to follow them. They help keep the World Wide Web, a tidy web, by providing the standards that we, the developers, should follow, and also the providers of Internet Browsers like Microsoft or Mozzila. We have studied the W3C and always keep updated on the changes, and we tend to provide to our customers the quality of a proper encoded website, assuring that the website we build will appear on all browsers the same way.

By doing that, the website establishes not only a user friendly environment, but also a search engine friendly code. Search Engines like Google, Yahoo, Msn and the thousands that exist use the so-called spiders or crawlers to read your website. These programs designed to follow a series of commands, and therefore do not have the intelligence to make a decision when they come across an error in your website's code. The only solution... validate your website.

You can try the W3C tool located at this address : http://validator.w3.org  and put your website address in the search box. See the errors? Ask your self a question. How many errors does your website have?  That could be the number of customers you are loosing per month (Hypothetically speaking).

Further than that, there are proper practices to use on a website and can achieve several effects, and results using proper encoding and proper web technologies.

For example, you might have seen some animations and moving staff on this website (Especially the homepage). Believe it or not, that is not Flash. Flash is not supported by most browsers and usually you have to install it first before you can use it. We are aware of technologies and programming languages such as Ajax or CSS, that can achieve these effects, in a more friendly way, and a lot faster too.

We could be talking for hours for these subjects, so let's cut to the chase. Let us explain to you in person, all you need to know regarding your own website, whether you have it or not yet. This way we can provide you with a more appropriate and personalised explanation with no strings attached and no commitments from your site.
